Published purpose

The health and safety of young workers has been an area of ongoing interest and concern for the Labour Program, and significant progress has been made in drawing attention to this issue. For this reason, Labour Program officials are leveraging the Labour Funding Program to support selected research projects that advance young workers' occupational health and safety. The Labour Program will provide funding to select youth injury prevention organizations to develop metrics that can assist in determining the effectiveness of young worker health and safety initiatives.
