Published purpose

This project aims to help women, children and other victims of conflict gain better access to justice and contributes to re-establishing peace and stability in Mali. The project supports Malian civil-society organizations in working to ensure that Mali's criminal justice system is able to fairly judge cases of corruption and human rights' crimes. The project seeks to ensure better respect for the human rights of Malians, fight corruption and impunity from crime, and support leaders, especially women and youth, in their reconciliation and conflict prevention efforts. The project also seeks to support reconciliation and dialogue between conflict-affected communities, and works to avoid the outbreak of new violence within Malian society.
