Published purpose
This project aims to contribute to the efforts of the Global Financing Facility in support of Every Woman Every Child (GFF) to end preventable maternal, newborn and child deaths and to improve the health and quality of life of women, adolescents and children. The project will support the GFF to develop, strengthen and scale-up effective, integrated and sustainable CRVS systems in eligible countries. Project activities include: (1) Promoting comprehensive, effective and integrated CRVS systems for improving reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health; (2) Facilitating inclusion of quality CRVS components in GFF Investment Cases, by working with countries to identify needs, establish priorities, and provide access to resources; (3) Establishing and maintaining a roster of CRVS technical experts; (4) Strengthening the capacity of in-country CRVS implementers for sustainability; (5) Building and facilitating exchange of knowledge and best practices; (6) Contributing to global tools and standards for CRVS systems and promoting their use; and, (7) Contributing to improved accountability in GFF countries.
