Published purpose
This project aims to collect information about international money transfers from residents of Canada to relatives or friends outside Canada. The Study on International Money Transfers is being conducted by Statistics Canada, with the support of Global Affairs Canada. The information collected in this study aims to help guide policies and programs to help lower the costs to send money outside Canada and allow for safer, more reliable money transfers.
