Published purpose
This project aims to strengthen Mexico's capacity to detect and respond to security incidents, involving nuclear or radiological materials within the country. Project activities include: (1) providing eight mobile radiation detection vehicles to the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) for deployment at its borders; and (2) delivering operational and maintenance training, as well as deployment strategies and best practices, to personnel of SEDENA.
