Published purpose
Meteorological Services Canada requires a cold weather sperical balloon made of natural or synthetic latex and capable of carrying either a 325g or 125g payload to monitor atmospheric conditions at its 31 upper air stations across Canada. The Contractor must provide MSC with aerological balloons for its network of 31 Upper Air Stations located across Canada such that each site will be capable of performing to operational requirements 365 days per year.
