Published purpose
This project financially supports the Government of Chile’s response to the Amazon and South American wildfires, specifically focusing on Paraguay and other countries in South America. Project activities include: (1) providing financial support to reimburse the Government of Chile for the deployment of aircrafts, personnel and materials; (2) providing logistical support for personnel participating in this project; and (3) developing capacity-building activities for the delivery of technical assistance on forest fire management.
