Published purpose
Temporary Help Services Acquired For General Help The contractor will provide data entry clerks to the Health Products Surveillance and Epidemiology Bureau (HPSEB), where they will data enter medical device incident (MDI) reports to help mitigate/reduce the backlog. This backlog, it is expected to grow an average of by 3600 reports a month. This data entry process involves converting files to different formats, utilizing different software application relevant to data entry/office work, and interpreting information from reports to manually enter/select said information into the internal database. This will have a significant impact on the overall data available to support safety surveillance of medical devices in Canada.
