Published purpose

This project aims to achieve greater positive impact of gender lens investments on education, safety, employment, and other development outcomes for women, girls, and non-binary individuals in developing countries. Project activities include: (1) Creating a GLI training program and complimentary resources for a cohort of organizations with expertise on gender and/or local investment context, including women's rights organizations; (2) Developing tools to guide GLI field, including women's rights organizations and local civil society, in implementing an improved research approach; and (3) Engaging global networks to facilitate collaboration on the implementation of best practices for gender lens investing. A consortium of the Aspen Network Development Entrepreneurs, Criterion Institute, and 2X Global implements this project.
