Published purpose
This project aims at strengthening the implementation and impact of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1540, which focuses on the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. This was done by supporting a three-day strategic dialogue at Wilton Park, United Kingdom in January 2020. Project activities included: (1) organizing and delivering a strategic dialogue to discuss ongoing challenges faced in the implementation of the resolution; and (2) identifying strategies to strengthen the resolution in the run-up to the comprehensive review.
