Published purpose
This project seeks to improve Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and the equal enjoyment of sexual and reproductive rights for those experiencing poverty, marginalization or vulnerability. Project activities include: (1) generating high-quality, rigorous SRHR research directly relevant to policies and programs; (2) disseminating timely, targeted information that is responsive to and impacts key stakeholders, including governments, donor agencies, multilateral agencies, international non-governmental organizations, global professional associations, journalists and researchers; (3) promoting effective policies and programs rooted in solid evidence in collaboration with strategic allies and partners globally; and (4) strengthening the capacity of researchers and advocates in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to undertake effective evidence-based SRHR communications. The project activities seek to advance SRHR globally and in LMICs, by laying the groundwork for evidence-driven, equitable policies and programs.
