Published purpose
The Knowledge Based Policy and Programming project allows CIDA to strengthen knowledge and analysis of development issues in Tanzania related to: governance, poverty reduction, budgetary support, education, health and HIV/AIDS, private sector development, gender equality, and environmental sustainability. This knowledge and analysis is used to further the development of key programming tools for CIDA, such as a Gender Equality Strategy, a Strategic Environmental Assessment and a new Country Development Programming Framework.
