Published purpose
The project supports the nationally driven peace process in Mozambique through a basket fund managed by the Swiss Government. The main activities focus on demobilization, disarmament and reintegration (DDR) in selected provinces. The project aims to contribute to a peaceful settlement of the conflict between the Frente de Libertaçao de Moçambique (FRELIMO) and the Resistência Nacional Moçambicana (RENAMO), thus contributing to an enabling environment for inclusive development and sustainable poverty reduction.
