Published purpose
Health Science Consultants Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) requires the best quality evidence to assist decision makers and ensure Canada’s priority and ongoing public health activities are informed by the most accurate and up-to-date information available. The Contractor will ensure that rapid timelines are met, ensure engagement of knowledge synthesis networks, and that research studies included in requested evidence products undergo, at minimum, a qualitative critical appraisal and considers the quality of evidence pertaining to the review. The Contractor will be required to engage and coordinate with relevant subject matter experts and evidence producers with expertise in the various public health topic areas. PHAC requires this additional capacity to address a need within the Agency for rapid evidence review services and supplement internal evidence synthesis efforts.
