Professional and Technical Health Services The purpose of the Canadian Chronic Diesase Surveillance System (CCDSS) is to contribute to the surveillance of chronic diseases in Canada by coordinating a collaborative, standarized approach to the collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of population-based surveillance data. The objectives of this contract are to maintain/enhance the CCDSS and ensure standarized and quality assured data to enable the generation of timely, comparable, Canada-wide statistics.
