Published purpose
The project aims to increase agricultural production and food security in Warrap State through improved, increased and diversified food production, as well as by building the productive asset base of food insecure households (e.g. through greater livestock health management) in South Sudan. Project activities include: (1) women farmer-to-women farmer training; (2) increasing and diversifying vegetable production during seasonal dry periods; (3) cash for work activities to construct ponds for irrigation; and 4) nutrition training, as well as farmer literacy and numeracy training.
