Published purpose
This grant represents Canada’s annual institutional support to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC). OECD-DAC uses these funds, along with other donors’ funding, to achieve its mandate. OECD-DAC’s mandate is to promote development co-operation and other policies so as to contribute to sustainable development, including pro-poor economic growth, poverty reduction, improvement of living standards in developing countries, and a future in which no country will depend on aid. Canada’s funding to OECD-DAC supports the activities of the OECD-DAC 2015-2016 Program of Work and Budget.
