Published purpose
This project seeks to increase the resilience and resistance of local communities, at-risk youths, and military-aged men to violent-extremist-organization rule. The project supports the advocacy and mobilization strategies of 4 emerging partner activist groups opposing the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Syria. Project activities include: (1) providing training on effective campaign principles; (2) collecting feedback from community members; (3) holding cross-group discussions on shared values and aims; and (4) creating a content management system.
