Published purpose

This project aims to enhance Canada’s international assistance commitment and the effectiveness of development results in Colombia and Ecuador. Project activities include: (1) providing advice, analysis, and technical support to government counterparts in priority areas for Canada; (2) providing technical assistance and capacity building for local partners, national and local authorities, and strategic and ad hoc interventions to consolidate the results of initiatives implemented by Canada; and (3) providing administrative and logistical services to support the monitoring and implementation of Canadian programming. The expertise provided seeks to strengthen political dialogue, expand knowledge on local development issues and support the development of innovative development strategies.
