Published purpose

This project aims to enhance the capacity of security agencies to prevent and respond to threats posed by terrorist activities. It does so by offering training and technical assistance to Morocco on counter-terrorism training, specifically tailored to the realities of the Moroccan prison system. Project activities include: (1) developing a core training curriculum and manual on identifying, assessing and responding to radicalization to terrorism and managing terrorism offenders in prisons; (2) developing and delivering an interactive training course for up to 25 corrections officials; and (3) evaluating training to inform next steps in implementing the Countering violent extremism in prisons program in Morocco.
