This project aims to improve the quality of health and political freedom by marginalized, conflict-affected and ethnic people, particularly women and girls, in Myanmar. Project activities include: (1) providing training to new and practicing health workers, including on sexual and reproductive health delivery and rights, particularly women; (2) providing dialogues, workshops and trainings to further expand and strengthen coordinated equitable healthcare; (3) training media partners in conflict-sensitive, non-discriminatory and inclusive news production; and (4) providing capacity-building trainings and exchanges for partners to deepen their understanding of rights issues. The project’s beneficiaries are 526,000 marginalized, conflict-affected and ethnic minority people and over 40 ethnic minority health partners.
