Published purpose
This project aimed to enhance the capacity of the Government of Iraq to better prevent, detect, and respond to biological threats arising from deliberate acts of terror. Project activities included: (1) delivering targeted training on biological laboratory equipment maintenance; (2) delivering a train-the-trainer program on biorisk management to scientists working in the life sciences; and (3) providing virtual mentorship sessions to young emerging scientists working in biorisk management.
