Published purpose

GAC’s humanitarian support to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Bangladesh, Nigeria and Yemen is contributing to meet the needs of vulnerable women and girls, particularly related to reproductive health and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). Project activities include: (1) in Nigeria, providing emergency obstetric care to women, and sexual and reproductive health services to vulnerable people, particularly women and girls; (2) in Bangladesh, supporting the sexual and reproductive health and rights, and gender-based violence needs of Rohingya refugees from Myanmar; and (3) in Yemen, providing health services, equipment and medication to Yemeni women and girls, and distributing dignity kits and reproductive health kits.
