Published purpose

This project aims to build the capacity of Tunisian government officials to efficiently and effectively coordinate Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) policies and programs. The project also works to raise awareness of the CVE policies, programs and coordination mechanisms with other stakeholders. Project activities include: (1) supporting the mapping of current CVE activities in Tunisia, along with a strategic scoping exercise to prepare the legal framework, and identify additional beneficiaries from the Government of Tunisia; (2) facilitating training workshops in strategic planning, CVE research, and monitoring and evaluation, along with design sessions that work to define CVE field and subcategories, results framework, and criteria for CVE interventions; and (3) facilitating workshops for CVE practitioners and a promotional campaign to raise awareness of coordination tools, the field of CVE practitioners and the resources available to them in Tunisia.
