Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance

Published purpose

This project aims to strengthen COVID-19 response and recovery by reducing COVID-19 related mortality and morbidity, particularly amongst vulnerable and priority-use populations in the Gavi Advance Market Commitment (AMC) 92 eligible economies. Through the Gavi COVAX Facility, support for the delivering and distributing COVID-19 vaccines would increase. The project supports the COVID-19 Delivery Support (CDS) envelope, which aims to accelerate vaccination to high-risk populations, scale-up vaccine delivery for target populations, and integrate COVID-19 into routine immunization and primary health systems. This project also provides CA$10M to Gavi to design and operationalize the dose- sharing mechanism and support dose donations, analysis and tracking.
