Published purpose

This project supports the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (CVJR) in order to implement the priority areas of its response strategy and action plan for stabilization in Mali. The initiative is aimed at building the CVJR’s capacities, especially those of the units responsible for truth seeking and investigations, supporting victims and repairs, gender-related issues, studies, documentation and publications. The CVJR is therefore better equipped to prepare a final report and to make recommendations based on sound methodologies and rigorous preliminary investigations, analyses and studies. The project supports the implementation of the Algiers Peace Agreement and complements the role played by the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali in its efforts with the CVJR.
