Published purpose
This project focuses on providing professional services, expert support, and technical and scientific advice to member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the ASEAN Secretariat. It is an integral part of Canada’s Biological Threat Reduction Program in the ASEAN region, which aims to strengthen laboratory capacities and other mechanisms to address emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, as well as to improve biosafety and biosecurity, disease surveillance, and regional connectivity capabilities.
