Published purpose
This project supported the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to address critical research and development gaps related to pathogens of bioterrorism and biosecurity concern. Project activities included: (1) conducting vaccine research and development against priority epidemic infectious diseases (Ebola, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus, Lassa, and Nipah); and (2) coordinating with vaccine manufacturers and regulators to advance vaccine candidates through the approval cycle.
