Published purpose
The project aims to develop a robust, sustainable national regime in Morocco to detect, deter, and respond to unauthorized nuclear and other radioactive material transfers across its international boundaries. The objective is to prevent acts of nuclear terrorism. Project activities include: (1) convening a national seminar on nuclear detection architecture; and (2) conducting scientific visits by Moroccan technical experts to Canada and the US.
