Published purpose

This project seeks to improve the socio-economic integration of refugees and displaced persons, as well as the vulnerable populations of host communities, in the Kayes, Mopti and Ségou regions and the greater Bamako area, including specific support to address the particular needs of women. Project activities include: (1) providing a diverse range of adapted training to better meet demand and the needs of the target groups, mainly women and young people; (2) providing instructors with training on the non-violent, gender-responsive management of conflicts; (3) implementing environmentally sensitive revenue-generating activities tailored to the target groups; (4) providing the target groups with support to develop business plans and get funding; and (5) carrying out micro-projects involving shared communal infrastructure, including specific micro-projects for women.
