Published purpose
This project aims to improve radiological security in Central Asia by strengthening regional capabilities to prevent, detect and halt the trafficking of radioactive material. Project activity includes organizing a workshop on strengthening the security of radiological sources in Central Asia for regional stakeholders. This would enable them to share information on and develop action plans, to address radioactive sources out of regulatory control.
