Published purpose
This project aims to support the operationalization of the UN Secretary General’s Mechanism for Investigation of Alleged Use of Chemical and Biological Weapons (UNSGM). Project activities include: (1) planning and delivery of a three-day meeting for experts; (2) developing a list of mission-specific equipment for a potential biological event required by UN-deployed experts; and (3) developing standard operating procedures for biological sample handling, collection, transportation, retention and disposal.
