Published purpose

The Enhancing Development and Governance project is designed to strengthen the knowledge and capacity for poverty reduction and sustainable development in Ethiopia, particularly in the areas of food security, agriculture, and democratic governance. The project finances a range of activities including analysis and research, policy dialogue, technical assistance, training, knowledge building and sharing, donor collaboration, and documentation of lessons learned. The project also supports small, strategic initiatives in the area of democratic governance, such as promoting an Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism through support to the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Centre, and providing technical assistance to the Ethiopian House of Federations.
