Published purpose
This project supports all 38 District Assemblies in northern Ghana in the implementation of their own district development plans. It supports the Government of Ghana in its efforts to reduce poverty in these northern districts, the poorest in Ghana. The project is regarded as a template for the newly established District Development Fund under the National Action Plan on Decentralization.
