Published purpose
The African Development Bank's (AfDB) Water Partnership Program (WPP) works closely with African member countries to increase their awareness of, and commitment to, integrated water resource management policies and practices, with the aim of increasing the sustainability and availability of water resources across the continent. The WPP provides grants to support water information and data management at the AfDB; integrated water resource management outreach and knowledge sharing; and the exchange of best practice and experiences. It is supported by the Netherlands, Canada and Denmark.
