Published purpose
This project aims to help China to meet its international labour-rights commitments related to rural migrant workers. The objective is to provide expertise to strengthen the capacity of municipal governments in China to improve employment practices and provide more equitable access to formal labour markets, with particular attention paid to women and ethnic minorities. The project also aims to help central-level agencies to coordinate the implementation of China's international commitments, including measures in support of recommendations of the International Labour Organization.
