The Gender Equality Support Fund - Phase II (FAES II) is designed to implement a decentralized fund to finance programs and projects that promote gender equality in strategic public reforms, and combat violence against women, adopting an approach that focuses on stakeholder capacity building and partnership between government institutions and civil society. The goal of the project is to support Morocco's commitments to apply basic equal rights to both women and men in development policies, institutions, and programs. The purpose of the project is to build the capacities of Moroccan collaborators to translate gender equality into strategic public reforms, while supporting partnership between government and civil society, and raising public awareness.
