Published purpose
The project provides technical assistance to strengthen the Common Development Fund (CDF), a funding mechanism which channels government and donor contributions to local governments. The CDF funds a variety of projects found in local development plans, such as schools, health centres, roads, telecommunications, water and sanitation infrastructure, and environmental protection measures.
