Published purpose
This is a component of the Support for Local Development and Agroforestry in Nippes project. It aims to reduce the vulnerability of populations and infrastructures to climate change and, more specifically, to natural disasters. The activities associated with this component are linked to the micro-watershed development plan and the commune development plans that were prepared as part of the main project component. They include establishment of local reforestation brigades, agroforestry activities, rehabilitation of agricultural and community infrastructures, and strengthening of seed storage systems.
