Published purpose
The Tanzania Aid Effectiveness Project (TAEP) provides a mechanism for CIDA to deliver program-level advisory services and support coordination and knowledge-building activities in order to achieve greater aid effectiveness in Tanzania. CIDA uses this mechanism to provide long-term advisory services, to contribute to joint reviews and studies, and to provide targeted technical assistance or support for Tanzanian government- or civil society-led activities related to CIDA's priority sectors. The total value of the TAEP is $5 million, implemented through three components: TAEP-II supports activities managed by UN organizations, TAEP-III supports activities managed by international financial institutions, and TAEP-I supports all other activities.
