Published purpose
The main objective of this sub-project of the Knowledge for Development Fund is to help Kenyan officials to be better prepared for disasters and to promote approaches that make the dividends of humanitarian work more sustainable. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) seeks to support Kenya’s Ministry of State for special programmes, as well as county and district governments as they build their coordination mechanisms for disaster preparedness and share best practices in disaster risk reduction and early recovery from disasters.
