Published purpose
This project aims to help improve the quality of basic education through the Ten-year Education and Training Program, and the learning conditions of rural primary school pupils. To bridge gaps in schools, the project helps to improve teaching conditions by procuring and distributing reference manuals and by making educational toolkits available to teachers at 2,000 schools. A second component helps to improve the learning environment for pupils by building 150 boundary walls for schools to make the premises secure, 570 desks and 570 chairs for teachers, 2,000 closets to store educational toolkits and reference manuals, and 30,000 table-benches for pupils.
