Published purpose
The main purpose of this project is to help achieve a significant reduction in corruption in Cameroun by supporting implementation of the projects outlined in the anti-corruption policy component of Cameroun's National Governance Program (2006-2010). This supports the following priorities: (i) further progress on diagnosing corruption in Cameroun, with the backing of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), including a study on political economy, establishment of indicators, and studies on corruption in certain key sectors; (ii) development and implementation of a national strategy and action plan for combating corruption; and (iii) strengthening civil society so that it can play an effective role in the fight against corruption.
