Published purpose
The project aims to support the Government of Senegal in developing a national geomatics plan, while building its capacities to retrieve, process, analyze, and disseminate information needed for sound decision making. The project aims to improve Senegal's territorial administration by using geomatics as a tool for good economic and social governance. The project's key outputs include establishing a topographic database; training key staff to acquire, manage, use, and disseminate data; and supporting the development of the national geomatics plan.
