Published purpose
The Public Service Reform Program is designed to ensure the delivery of quality, timely, efficient public services; the implementation of appropriate public policies; and the establishment of a sound environment for private sector growth and social development. It contributes to improving the delivery of public services such as education, health, land management, support to agriculture, water, and electricity to the Tanzanian population, by strengthening the capacity, performance and accountability of government Ministries and public service personnel. This is a Government of Tanzania-led initiative, with support from Canada and other donors.
