TEN/MET - Tanzania Education Network / Mtandao wa Elimu Tanzania

Published purpose

This project provides core funding support to the Tanzania Education Network / Mtandao wa Elimu Tanzania (TEN/MET) for the implementation of its Strategic Plan 2007-2010. This Plan includes activities such as policy analysis, research and publications, networking and strategic alliance building, monitoring of education policy implementation, public policy fora and capacity building for network members. Together these activities enable TEN/MET to become a stronger organization that is better able to develop and coordinate the full potential and creativity of its members to carry out advocacy initiatives, which facilitates effective civil society participation in policy processes to advocate for equitable access to quality basic education for all.
