Published purpose
The project represents Canada’s contribution to a basket fund established and managed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The fund’s overall objective is to ensure effective coordination of the support provided by partners in Mali’s electoral process. Postponed since the coup d'État of March 22, 2012, presidential elections which were originally scheduled in April 2012 were held in August 2013.
