Published purpose

The YouthLEAD Project aims to help over 100,000 at-risk youth aged 10-24 contribute to socio-economic development, and the development of peace, within their communities in Sudan and South Sudan. The project supports broader access to youth-friendly services, including education and life skills, health and social services, income generating opportunities and sustainable livelihoods, as well as youth engagement in good governance and peace promotion. Moreover, through training in management, administration and programming, the project builds the capacity of state and non-state actors serving youth across a range of sectors to develop, implement and advocate for effective, youth-centered policies, programs and services. Youth centres in targeted localities are the hubs for core project activities and linkages.
