Published purpose
The project aims to enhance food security, or access to safe, sufficient and nutritious food, for approximately 259,000 people in the Casamance, Fatick, Kaolack, Kaffrine, Tamba, Kédougou, Louga and Matam regions. To reach this goal, the project seeks to increase rice, fruit and vegetable production through the provision of training and technical advice, seeds, as well as the construction of land protection and irrigation structures.
