Published purpose
This Asia Development Bank-led initiative aims to stimulate private sector investment in infrastructure in the Philippines. Through technical assistance and capacity development, this project aims to contribute to: improving the policy, legal and regulatory framework for public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the country; strengthening the capacity of selected government institutions in promoting, developing and implementing PPP projects; institutionalizing PPP best practices to build a sustainable national PPP program; establishing a dedicated infrastructure financing facility; and supporting the PPP Center’s Project Development and Monitoring Facility (PDMF) to help structure bankable PPP projects.
